Inner Space is a testament to our inner-world, our child-like imagination and escapism from everyday life and stress. It reminds us to be free of constraint, and to create without judgment of the final outcome.
This painting began as a personal test and exploration of colour. In the past I have avoided using a wide range of colours and have been quite selective in my creative process. I wanted to let loose and create something otherworldly and fun.
This painting is 16 x 12 inches and created using oil paint and pastels, acrylic paint and also embroidered thread on stretched canvas.
